The 1996-97 football season: it was the best of times, it was the worst of times, right? Well, this year the Utes are looking forward to a stronger and more consistent season. And the Alumni Association will be there to provide opportunities for our out-of-town alumni to celebrate the victories.

Saturday, October 18, the Utes will provide the "pluck" as Oregon brings on the Ducks. The Alumni Association will be on-hand with a pre-game brunch"Ute fans can't be expected to watch a game like this on an empty stomach. Join members of the Portland Chapter and other alumni from the Pacific Northwest in supporting the team and Association. Utes fans can find the party on "tent row" on the Autzen Stadium Grounds. Brunch is at 11 a.m. and game time is 1 p.m.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricanes will look like a gentle breeze after the Utes finish with them on Saturday, November 1. Ute fans, friends, and chapter members are invited to a picnic lunch before the "blow"-out. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and will be held in the Alan Chapman Student Center on the University of Tulsa campus. The Utes and the 'Canes go at it at 1:30 p.m.
