MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!Election season is an opportune time to get involved in the University of Utah’s Legislative Advocacy Program. It’s easy. It doesn’t take much time. And it’s rewarding. Alumni and other volunteers from the University of Utah community — including faculty, staff, and students — have the opportunity to get to know and communicate with their state legislators about the amazing things happening at the U, how vital the state’s flagship university is to Utah’s economy, and the importance of funding programs that are essential to the health of the University. Interested? All you need is a telephone or access to e-mail. For more information, call Linda Marion (587-7837) or Marcia Dibble (581-6996), or visit www.alumni.utah.edu/advocacy, where there is more information and a link to an online registration form. The Legislative Advocacy Program is administered by the University of Utah Alumni Association and Office of Government Affairs. |
